The 2016 Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE) convention and expo, held in Orlando, FL on April 3-5th was a great opportunity to reconnect with our industry friends and meet new members in the organization.

The agenda was filled with a combination of networking opportunities, education and industry updates. Quality Voice & Data was well-represented by Dean and Angela Garfinkel, Kelsey Olsen and Bambi Junge.

Dean sits on the PACE National Board of Directors and he currently serves as Treasurer. Angela serves on the PACE Central Chapter Board of Directors and she currently serves as the chapter’s marketing chair.

Kelsey and Bambi were busy in the exhibit hall throughout the 3 day convention. Kelsey is the Director of Enhanced Telecom for Quality Voice & Data. During the convention, Kelsey was honored as a finalist for the Customer Engagement Professional award. Kelsey was nominated for the award based on customer feedback.

The primary topics that dominated the agenda included:
• TCPA Compliance (non-ATDS solutions for calls to cellular numbers)
• How to ask for and store Prior Express Written Consent for placing calls to cellular phone numbers
• Employee engagement tactics
• Customer engagement technology
• Multi-channel customer engagement strategies

It was a great convention and we were proud to exhibit and sponsor. The PACE leadership team did a great job. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you at the PACE Washington Summit in D.C. on September 18-20th. Want to learn more? www.paceassociation.com
