Last Updated: July 14, 2026

Thank you for visiting our web site. This privacy policy tells you how we use personal information collected at this site. Please read this privacy policy before using the site or submitting any personal information. By using the site, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy. These practices may be changed, but any changes will be posted and changes will only apply to activities and information on a going forward, not retroactive basis. You are encouraged to review the privacy policy whenever you visit the site to make sure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used.

Note: the privacy practices set forth in this privacy policy are for this web site only. If you link to other web sites, please review the privacy policies posted at those sites. Information we collect and handle in the course of providing telecommunications services to our customers is governed by the applicable customer agreement, our Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law, including the Federal Communications Commission's rules governing Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) under Section 222 of the Communications Act. See the “Customer Proprietary Network Information” section below.

Collection of Information

We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and company names when voluntarily submitted by our visitors, such as through our contact and quote request forms. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, referring pages, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and HubSpot, as described below.

Cookie/Tracking Technology

The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Some information collected through cookies and tracking technologies, such as IP addresses and device identifiers, may be considered personal information under applicable law, and if you have previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to that information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies, though some site features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. Where required by applicable law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

Distribution of Information

We share personal information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, customer relationship management, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers are permitted to use personal information only to provide services to us. We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes. We may share personal information with our professional advisors (such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers) and with actual or prospective lenders, investors, and their advisors in connection with financing, loan administration, audits, or due diligence, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections. We may also disclose personal information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, subject to the same protections. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

SMS/Text Messaging: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for text messaging programs will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you have requested. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

As a telecommunications provider, QVD receives Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) in the course of providing services, such as information about the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and amount of use of the services our customers purchase. Federal law and FCC regulations restrict how we may use and disclose CPNI. We use CPNI to provide, bill for, and support the services our customers purchase, to protect against fraud and unlawful use, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not use, disclose, or permit access to CPNI for marketing purposes outside the scope permitted by FCC rules without customer approval. Customers may contact us using the information below with questions about our CPNI practices.

Your Privacy Rights

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in the “Privacy Contact Information” section below. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request, and you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us and referencing your original request.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
